Galt gave Sonora a run for their money in the preseason, but Sonora was able to keep a big goose egg on Galt's side of the scoreboard. And the unforgettable game against Granite Bay of Sacramento, where Sonora was destined to lose but shocked the hometown and the whole Sacramento area. Relive the heart breaking and extremely controversial moment against Rio Linda where Sonora was stripped of their final seconds, in the end the officials were escorted off the field.

    Captains: #8 Jordan Depaoli, #55 Andrew Blume and #7 Jed Malone. After losing their first three games this team pushed through plenty of adversity. But that didn't put the wind out of their sails, the team has heart. This team definitely pleased their homecoming crowd while playing a tough defense and strong offense to hold Manteca to their only loss. And the cats clinched the VOL title, after an extremely close game against the BIG rival of Oakdale. for the 3rd year in a row the cats faced Rio Linda, and soon found themselves in the freezing temperatures in Colfax upsetting the defending section champs. Then for the first time in a long time UOP was in the picture...
